Vibration Type

Unlike others, HyperGravity machines offer linear vibration at high frequencies.

Linear Vibration

The whole body vibration theory was originated from the concept of human body movement under Earth’s gravity. Any other plate movements are not efficient and are not recommended. The movement of individual organs in the human body is always influenced by Earth’s gravity. The Earth’s gravity works in vertical (linear) directions. Therefore, it is natural and more effective for the human body to exercise in a vertical direction. Running vertically causes all the body organs such as the muscles, the brain, chest, abdomen, body cells, tissues and muscles to contract and relax repeatedly. Also, all our body joints were designed to be align. Vertical movement stimulates the growth plates, improves blood vessel circulation, activates the lymphatic system and helps eliminate cellulite. Vertical movements also cause the muscle fibers to contract and relax repeatedly, which enhances muscular strength.

Oscillating Vibration

The “Oscillating” Pivotal / Tilting machine or any Pivotal / Tilting plate stimulate the movement of the femur to the hips by tilting around and up the axle. Standing on the machine you have to constantly try to keep your head and body steady and upright. The muscles in the oscillating movements do not react and do not contract and relax as they do with Whole Body Vibration (WBV) Linear machine. The Oscillatory movements on the Pivotal / Tilting platform, are putting excessive forces on the hip joint and the lower spine. The hip joint attaches the leg to the torso of the body. In the hip joint, the head of the thigh bone (femur) swivels in a socket, called the acetabulum, that is made up of pelvic bones. While many causes of hip pain can arise from the joint itself, there are numerous structures surrounding the hip that can also be the source of pain due to the excessive trauma that was caused by the upward tilting forces of the Pivotal / tilting plate. The femoral head and the acetabulum are lined with articular that allows the bones to move in the joint with less friction. Also, the socket area of the acetabulum is covered with tough cartilage called the labrum. Just like any other joint cartilage, these areas can wear away or tear and become another source of pain. Thus, it may cause a damage or a crack or inflammation to the hip bone. Specially among women who suffer from bone density loss “Osteporosis” and did not know about it (due to lack of testing) Many studies show that Linear “Whole Body Vibration” (WBV) Training and Therapy, at the right dose can lead to a faster growth and recovery of all tissues.
